A Vision for a Reborn Cameroon
Since 2011, Kingsley Akonwie has carried a quiet but unshakable calling, not for power, but for service. A calling to restore dignity where it has been lost, rebuild trust where it has been broken, and lead Cameroon into a new era of justice, unity, and shared prosperity. Rooted in faith, shaped by resilience, and guided by a deep love for people, he steps forward to contest for the Presidency of Cameroon in 2032 under the banner of the Freedom and Economic Movement (FREEDEM).
Cameroon stands at a historic turning point. By 2032, over 13 million young people will be ready to claim their place in shaping the nation’s destiny. This moment is not one to fear, but to embrace, for it carries the promise of renewal and progress.
FREEDEM envisions a Cameroon that belongs to its people, where leadership is service, not self-interest; where justice and integrity are the foundation of governance; where prosperity is shared, not hoarded. A Cameroon where infrastructure and innovation connect us to the future, industries are nurtured to thrive, and opportunity is found at home, not abroad.
It is a Cameroon where families prosper, farmers flourish, workers are rewarded, women walk in dignity and safety, and every citizen is valued regardless of tribe, language, or region.

SUMMARY OF OUR NATIONAL VISION
Governance, Leadership & Integrity
- Corruption: Our administration will enforce a zero-tolerance anti-corruption policy. For every 100 CFA stolen, embezzled, given, or accepted as a bribe, the offender(s) will serve one year in a maximum-security prison with hard labor, ensuring strict accountability and strong deterrence.
- Political Prisoners: Our administration will grant full pardon to all political detainees, as a step toward national reconciliation, justice, and lasting peace.
- Rule of Government: Our administration will establish a federated system of governance to ensure balanced regional autonomy and national cohesion. Under this system, governors will be elected by the people, not appointed, to strengthen accountability, representation, and local leadership.
- Transparency: Our administration will create an online public accountability platform for all national projects. All government contracts will be awarded strictly on merit, and bidding will be open to all qualified national contractors, ensuring transparency, fairness, and value for public funds.
- Audit: Our administration will enforce annual, independent audits of all government institutions, from the Presidency to each ministry. Oversight will be carried out by 40 independent Cameroonian audit firms, supported by international oversight where necessary, and all findings will be made public for every citizen to see.
- Cultural Renewal Initiative(CRI): Our administration will invest in Cameroon’s cultural foundations by providing 200,000,000 CFA to every one of our 250 tribes for the construction or rehabilitation of traditional palaces, restoring cultural authority and transforming heritage into a driver of tourism and national pride.
- Cultural Leadership Appreciation Initiative (CLAI): Traditional rulers of each tribe will also receive a monthly salary of 200,000 CFA to strengthen cultural leadership.
Infrastructure & Transportation
- Roads: Our administration will pave 90% of Cameroon’s road network, approximately 110,000 km, by 2052, delivering an average of 5,000 km of roads annually. These roads will feature modern interchanges, greenery, toll systems, and smart maintenance infrastructure to ensure durability, safety, and long-term value.
- Airports: Our administration will build international-standard airports in every region of Cameroon and expand the Cameroon Airlines fleet to over 50 aircraft, strengthening domestic connectivity, international travel, and global trade.
- New City Initiative: Our administration will construct new, modern administrative cities in every region of Cameroon, each developed on 1,500–2,000 acres of land and anchored by 10 landmark skyscrapers. These cities will be mixed-use developments, integrating residential, commercial, and administrative spaces to create vibrant hubs for governance, business, and modern living.
- Seaports: Our administration will rebuild and modernize the Tiko and Limbe seaports into world-class global trade hubs, enhancing port capacity, efficiency, and connectivity to support international commerce and regional exports.
- Railways: Our administration will expand a national railway network from Makari in the Far North through every region, extending to Moloundou in the East, connecting all ten regions of Cameroon. This railway will significantly improve the transportation of goods, raw materials, and agricultural produce, strengthening national trade and industrial growth.
- Street Lighting: Our administration will deploy 60,000–80,000 km of solar street lighting to brighten streets, improve security, and advance Cameroon’s transition to clean, renewable energy.
- Urban Transportation: Our administration will establish and modernize urban transportation systems by introducing low-cost public city buses and construct a futuristic electric metro network to provide fast, affordable, and efficient transportation in major cities.
- Road Infrastructure to Palaces: Our administration will ensure that every palace of a traditional ruler in Cameroon is connected by paved, accessible roads, honoring our cultural institutions while improving mobility for citizens and attracting cultural tourism
- History Preservation : Our administration will build regional museums in every region, dedicated to showcasing the history, heritage, and culture of each tribe within the region. This initiative will preserve our national memory, strengthen cultural identity, and boost cultural tourism.
- Yellow Taxi Initiative: Our administration will launch a Yellow Taxi Transportation Program that provides zero-interest vehicle loans to enable citizens to purchase brand-new taxis, repayable over 5 to 10 years. Each year, 1,000 qualified applicants will benefit from this program, creating jobs, empowering families, and improving safe, reliable public transportation nationwide.
Economy & Industrialization
- Industrial and technological Revolution: Our administration will foster the creation of 200–300 globally recognized Cameroonian brands across every major industry, building household names that compete internationally and showcase Cameroon’s excellence to the world.
- $2billion Investment Initiative (2BI): Our administration will establish a $2 billion annual grant initiative to invest in technology, agriculture, robotics, artificial intelligence, healthcare, fashion, entertainment, and industrial startups, accelerating innovation, job creation, and national competitiveness.
- The Home Land Project – Singapore 2.0
- Our administration’s vision is to unite Cameroonians at home and abroad to help build a beautiful, modern, and respected nation. Through the Homeland Project, small voluntary contributions will raise about $760 million every year. With this, we plan to build over 900 kilometers of roads, one world-class reference hospital, one new airport, one aircraft, and traditional palaces annually. This initiative does not replace government responsibility. It strengthens national development through transparency, unity, and shared ownership. Together, we will turn patriotism into real progress that people can see, use, and be proud of for generations.
- Entrepreneurship Grants (EG): Our administration will invest 10 billion CFA every year to uplift 10,000 entrepreneurs, granting 1 million CFA to each trader. By supporting 1,000 entrepreneurs in every region, we will fuel local businesses and strengthen community-based economies nationwide.
- National Credit Rating :Our administration will repair Cameroon’s credit rating from its current levels —Fitch : B ,Moody’s Investors Service: Caa1,
S&P Global Ratings: B- to the highest global standard-Fitch: AAA, Moody’s: AAA, S&P: AAA. This policy will restore investor confidence, reduce debt costs, strengthen the economy, and secure Cameroon’s financial future
- Retail & Tariffs: Our administration will gradually raise tariffs on non-essential imports by 2037, creating space for Cameroonian industries to grow, compete, and thrive while safeguarding jobs and local production.
- SMEs: Our administration will support small and medium-sized businesses by reducing taxes, providing guidance and support, and offering grants and low-interest loans to help them grow and create jobs.
- Exports: Our administration will transform Cameroon into Africa’s breadbasket by tripling food production through mass agricultural industrialization. By ending the export of raw materials, we will keep value, jobs, and wealth within the country while feeding Africa and the world.
- Mining and Mineral Exploration: Our administration will establish ethical, large-scale mining and exploration of Cameroon’s natural resources and minerals, led by Cameroonian-owned companies, ensuring transparency, environmental protection, and national value retention.
- Manufacturing: Our administration will industrialize Cameroon by building modern factories, refineries, and industrial parks, ensuring our raw materials are processed at home and transformed into Cameroonian-made products for Africa and the world.
- Currency : Our administration will transition from the CFA franc to a fully independent national currency, or lead efforts toward the creation of a unified Pan-African currency. This shift will strengthen economic sovereignty, promote regional stability, and give our people full control over their financial future.
Agriculture & Natural Resources
- Cocoa: Our administration will position Cameroon as the number one cocoa producer in the world and a leading exporter of value-added cocoa products, strengthening agro-industrial capacity, global market share, and export earnings.
- Cotton: Our administration will position Cameroon as Africa’s number one cotton and textile producer, supported by modern ginneries, spinning mills, and textile manufacturing to drive exports and job creation.
- Sugarcane: Our administration will position Cameroon as a top five global sugar producer, supported by modern, high-capacity sugar refineries that drive efficiency, value addition, and export competitiveness.
- Fisheries: Our administration will make Cameroon Africa’s #1 fish producer and a major exporter of fish and fish products.
- Banana: Our administration will position Cameroon as Africa’s number one banana producer and a leading exporter of bananas and value-added banana products, strengthening agro-industrial capacity and export earnings.
- Palm Oil: Our administration will position Cameroon as Africa’s number one producer of palm oil and a leading exporter of value-added palm oil products, strengthening agro-industrial capacity and export earnings. .
- Poultry: Our administration will build a 20-million-chicken national farming system, creating the world’s largest chicken farm and strengthening Cameroon’s role in global food security and agricultural exports.
- Duck Farm: Our administration will build the largest duck farm in the world, with a 20-million-duck production capacity, positioning Cameroon as a global leader in poultry production and export.
- Livestock:
- Our administration will build a 3-million-pig national farming system, creating the world’s largest pig farm and positioning Cameroon as Africa’s leading exporter of pork and pig-based products.
- Our administration will build a national rabbit farming system with a 5-million-rabbit capacity, creating the largest rabbit farm globally and positioning Cameroon as a top exporter of rabbit meat and rabbit-based products.
- Our administration will build a 3-million-pig national farming system, creating the world’s largest pig farm and positioning Cameroon as Africa’s leading exporter of pork and pig-based products.
- Rubber: Our administration will position Cameroon as the third-largest rubber producer in Africa and a major exporter of value-added rubber products, strengthening industrial capacity and export earnings.
- Food Production: Triple food production
Energy, Technology & Digital Sovereignty
- Power/Electricity: Our administration will generate 20,000 megawatts (MW) of hydropower, ensuring reliable and consistent electricity across every region of the nation. This expansion will also enable Cameroon to export surplus energy to neighboring countries, strengthening regional influence and generating sustainable revenue.
- Internet: We will ensure the that at least 90% of Cameroon's landscape has access to 5G network while we lay the foundation for 6G-ready infrastructure.
- Space: Our administration will launch one national satellite into orbit every year to advance technological capacity and support weather forecasting, national defense, communications, and geological monitoring.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Our administration will build a futuristic, advanced, Cameroonian-owned and managed cloud storage facility to safeguard national data, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure digital sovereignty and state autonomy.
- Innovation Hub: Our administration will build a Tech City and AI Complex that will stand as Africa’s Silicon Valley, attracting global investment, empowering youth, and positioning Cameroon as a continental leader in technology and innovation.
- Technology: Our administration will build a new digital era by launching homegrown Cameroonian platforms for social media, finance, tourism, AI, agriculture, transport, weather, healthcare, entertainment, music, and film, positioning Cameroon as a leading technology and creative hub in Africa.
- Crypto: Our administration will introduce a Cameroonian national cryptocurrency, positioning the country at the forefront of digital finance. To promote broad participation, every citizen aged 16+ will receive $20 in digital currency, empowering citizens to engage in the future economy.
Housing, Lifestyle & Urban Development
- Housing: Our administration will build over 5 million affordable housing units, alongside upscale residential developments and waterfront island communities, to guarantee homeownership opportunities for every citizen. This will be supported by a zero-interest mortgage (home loan) system, ensuring fair, accessible home loans and long-term housing security.
- Lifestyle: Our administration will construct mega shopping malls in every regional capital city while modernizing local markets, creating safe, organized, and vibrant commercial spaces that support businesses, traders, and consumers alike.
- Safety: Our administration will introduce modern zoning laws, construct modern correctional facilities, and develop well-structured, advanced police infrastructure, including a central police headquarters in every region, to strengthen public safety, urban order, and justice delivery.
- Police Fleet: Our administration will modernize law enforcement by deploying 3,000 new patrol vehicles, 5,000 motorcycles, 1,000 highway patrol vehicles, and 500 ticket-enforcement vehicles to improve response time, road safety, and public service delivery. In addition, 200 prestige electric vehicles will be introduced to enhance official representation, promote sustainability, and elevate the national brand. .
- Freedom of worship: Our administration will uphold full freedom of worship and formalize the legalization and regulation of houses of worship, protecting religious liberty while ensuring accountability and peaceful coexistence.
Healthcare & Welfare
- Hospitals: Our administration will build 100 AI-integrated, modern regional hospitals and 1,000 clinics across all 365 municipalities, ensuring accessible, technology-enabled healthcare for every citizen.
- Health Care Personnel: Our administration will build a resilient healthcare system by training 100,000 doctors and 250,000 nurses and allied health professionals over the next two decades. By producing 4,000 doctors and 10,000 nurses every year, we will meet growing healthcare needs and improve access to care across the country.
- Healthcare Access: Our administration will establish a free basic healthcare system for all citizens, including free maternity and pregnancy care, ensuring universal access to essential medical services and safe childbirth.
- Elder Care 65 Initiative (EC65) : We will establish a care initiative for the Elderly that will provide a monthly allowance of 15,000 CFA to every citizen aged 65 and above. This support honors our elders, helps them meet basic needs with dignity, and ensures they are not forgotten in their later years.
- Child Allowance At the birth of a fourth child, and each additional child thereafter, eligible parents will receive a one-time grant of 100,000 CFA. In addition, families will receive a monthly allowance of 10,000 CFA per child until the age of five.
This initiative applies exclusively to Cameroonian citizens and is designed to support growing families, reduce financial pressure, and promote a stable annual population growth rate of 2–2.5%, ensuring long-term national development.
- Drug Traffickers And Drug Dealers: Our administration will aggressively combat drug trafficking. Any individual convicted of drug dealing, following a fair and transparent judicial process, will face the severest penalties under the law, up to and including the death penalty, as a strong deterrent against narcotics crimes.
- Crimes Against Children: Our administration will enforce zero tolerance for crimes against children. Any individual convicted, through due process of law, of rape of a minor under the age of 16 or of child trafficking will face the death penalty.
Likewise, any person proven in court to have deliberately made a false accusation of rape will be subject to the same penalty, ensuring justice, deterrence, and protection of the innocent.
- Child Support and Mandatory DNA Testing: Our administration will enforce mandatory child support obligations for both parents following divorce, ensuring every child is financially supported. A 50–50 custody framework will be implemented as the standard, prioritizing the child’s best interests and balanced parental involvement.
To protect parental rights and ensure legal clarity, free DNA testing will be integrated into the childbirth process to confirm paternity and establish paternal rights from birth.
- Minimum Wage: Our administration will restore dignity to work by increasing the minimum wage to 100,000 CFA by 2033, and 150,000 CFA by 2040, creating a fair and sustainable standard of living for working families.
- Teachers, Law Enforcement, Nurses & Doctors: Our administration will implement a 20% salary increase for teachers, law enforcement officers, and healthcare professionals to improve service delivery, strengthen morale, and reduce corruption by ensuring fair and dignified compensation.
Education, Research & Culture
- Education: Our administration will establish a tuition-free education system from primary through high school, integrating technology-driven AI and STEM curricula to prepare students for the demands of a modern, innovation-driven economy
- Teaching Personnel and Schools: More modern schools infrastructures and teaching personnel will be added to the system. Approximately 200k more teachers will be added to the teaching force.
- Libraries: Our administration will build world-class libraries in every region, equipped with advanced AI-powered learning tools and digital systems to support education, research, and lifelong learning.
- Universities, Technical & Vocational Education (TVET)
We will expand and modernize universities across the country while strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to equip young people with practical, job-ready skills. Specialized institutes in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Agriculture, engineering and Entertainment will be established to prepare a future-ready workforce, drive innovation, and position Cameroon as a regional hub for technology, creative industries, and digital excellence.
- Global Talent Program: Our administration will invest in the future by sponsoring 1,000 graduates annually (100 per region) for STEM education and global exchange programs, equipping them with world-class knowledge to return and build Cameroon’s innovation-driven economy.
- Culture: Our administration will launch a National Courtesy Campaign to promote respect, patriotism, and kindness across all sectors of society, strengthening national unity, civic responsibility, and shared values.
Sports, Entertainment & Global Recognition
- Stadiums: Our administration will build two world-class stadiums for every major sports domain in each region, ensuring nationwide access to modern sports infrastructure. In addition, we will construct a 200,000-seat mega stadium, the largest sports stadium in the world, positioning Cameroon as a global center for major international sporting events.
- Leagues: Our administration will build professional, well-regulated leagues in every major sports domain, creating pathways for talent development, job creation, and international competitiveness.
- Global recognition: Our administration will transform Cameroonian leagues into Africa’s most competitive and best-paying sports leagues, placing them among the top five in the world. Prize money will rise from $2 million to $100 million, creating opportunity, prestige, and international recognition.
- Global Hosting & International Sports Leadership: Our administration will position Cameroon as a premier global destination for major international sporting events, including a bid to host the 2048 Olympic Games and the 2052 FIFA World Cup. We will also actively pursue and host world-class tournaments in Formula 1, Rugby, Tennis, Golf, Martial Arts, Baseball, E-sports, and Water Sports, elevating Cameroon’s global profile while driving tourism, infrastructure development, and economic growth.
- Tourism: Rehabilitate 15-20 km of beaches, build world class hotels, resorts ,amusement parks, tourist attractions, aquariums, and zoos nationwide. Revamp and upgrade the 21 national parks and reserves in Cameroon. Our administration will put Cameroon on the world stage in tourism by establishing key landmark projects :
- Construct the tallest building in the world
- Construct the largest football stadium in the world (200,000-seat capacity)
- Construct the largest zoo in the world (60 hectares)
- Construct the tallest monument in the world (250 meters)
- Construct the largest aquarium in the world (50 million liters of water capacity)
- Construct the largest and highest water fountain in the world
- Construct the largest film studio in Africa and second largest in the world
- Construct the largest Ferris wheel in the world (300 meters high)
- Construct the longest and highest zip line in the world
- Construct the tallest bungee jump in the world
- Construct the biggest and most thrilling roller coaster in the world
- Film & Music: Become 6th-4th largest films/movies producer (500–1000 films/year) with 50 state of the art modern cinemas across the 10 regions and also build the worlds 2nd largest and Africa’s largest Film studio.
- Streaming: Develop national streaming platforms for music and Movies with at least 10–15 million subscribers. Make it the highest paying streaming service in the world.
- Festivals: Launch globally recognized cultural festivals to celebrate Cameroon's diverse cuisine and culture.
Finance & Inclusion
- Financial Inclusion: Our administration will ensure that every citizen is financially included from age 16, with access to a free bank account, debit and credit card, and $20 in cryptocurrency, empowering young Cameroonians to participate confidently in the digital and financial future.
- Banking: Our administration will fully digitalize the banking system to simplify business transactions, improve efficiency, and strengthen the transparent collection of taxes, reducing leakage and increasing government accountability.
- Accountability: Our administration will build a strong, diversified economy that is resilient and recession-resistant, ensuring long-term prosperity for our people. We will develop financial and strategic reserves to protect the nation during global economic downturns and secure future generations.
Defense, Security & Fire Services
- Military Budget: Our administration will increase the national defense budget from $500 million to $5 billion annually to strengthen national security and modernize the armed forces. Of this allocation, $1.5 billion will be dedicated specifically to weapons systems and artillery, while the remaining funds will support personnel welfare, training, intelligence, technology, logistics, and defense infrastructure.
- Personnel: Our administration will expand the armed forces from 40,000 to 400,000 personnel, building a modern, professional military with advanced air, land, naval, and cyber capabilities. This expansion will prioritize rigorous training, technological superiority, intelligence capacity, and coordinated multi-domain defense readiness.
- Military Pay: Our administration will increase the base monthly salary from 51,000 CFA to 250,000 CFA. In addition, salaries will grow by 20% based on length of service and career progression, ensuring that experience, loyalty, and commitment are fairly rewarded.
- Fire Department: Our administration will build over 100 modern fire stations nationwide and deploy more than 200 fully equipped fire trucks, creating a rapid-response emergency system that protects lives, property, and critical infrastructure. This investment will position Cameroon as the leading fire and emergency response nation in Africa.
Global Identity & Image
- Passport: Our administration will leverage Cameroon’s culture, diplomacy, and global engagement to elevate the Cameroonian passport into the top three most powerful in Africa, securing visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to at least 120 countries.
- Brand Image: Our administration will position Cameroon as a global beacon of innovation, culture, and excellence, showcasing the nation’s creativity, talent, and leadership on the world stage.
- Global Positioning: Today, Cameroon’s GDP stands at approximately $56 billion, ranking 94th globally and 15th in Africa. Through our administrations forward thinking policy designs and decisive implementation , Cameroon’s economy will be catapulted to between $500 billion and $1.5 trillion by 2052, positioning the nation among the top 4 to 1 largest economies in Africa and within the top 25 economies globally
- Job creation: Our 2032–2052 Vision is expected to create about 6–10 million jobs.
- Poverty reduction: Our administration will lift millions out of poverty, reducing Cameroon’s poverty rate from 37.7% to under 8%. This will place Cameroon among the top five African nations and within the top 10–20 countries worldwide, with poverty rates lower than those of the United States, Germany, Japan, Italy, and Canada.
- Debt free: As of 2025, Cameroon’s public debt stands at approximately $24.5 billion. Our vision makes clear provision for this debt to be systematically reduced and fully resolved between 2032 and 2042, through disciplined fiscal management, economic growth, and responsible public finance reforms.
