Our Vision For Urban Housing, Planning and Development

The Current State of Cameroon

  • Housing: Millions lack affordable, decent homes. Many families live in overcrowded slums without water, electricity, or good roads.

  • City Planning: Unregulated settlements are spreading, with little zoning or sustainable development.

  • Economic Centers: Most regions have no modern shopping or business hubs, and development is overcrowded in a few cities.

  • Administrative Structures: Regions depend on old, congested capitals without fair distribution of modern infrastructure.

  • Knowledge & Culture: Many municipalities have no public libraries, and Cameroon still lacks a proper National Archives to preserve our history.

  • Law & Order: Prisons are overcrowded, outdated, and fail to rehabilitate. Police stations are under-equipped and cannot fully ensure citizen safety.

Our Vison 2032-2052

 Affordable Housing for All

1 Million+ Affordable Homes in 20 Years.

We will close the housing gap by building over one million new homes within 20 years across cities, towns, and villages.

  • That means 100,000 new homes per region over 20years .

  • Every year, 5,000 homes will be built.

  • Housing options will include apartment buildings, townhouses, single-family homes and villas. so every family can find a place that fits their needs.

Zero-Interest Mortgage System

A new mortgage system will be instituted and it will allow families, including minimum wage earners, to own homes with zero interest rates.

  • Example1 :  For minimum wage families and individuals.

A worker earning 150,000 CFA per month or two siblings earning 100000 CFA

each monthly, will be able to buy a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment, kitchen ,

dinning and living area valued at 5 million CFA. Payments will be spread over

10 years, costing about 42,000 CFA

per month, making homeownership truly possible for ordinary families.

  • Example 2: For Middle-Income Families

  • Individuals or families earning between 300,000 and 500,000 CFA per month (or more) are well-positioned to purchase a home valued between 30 million and 50 million CFA. With a 25-year repayment plan (300 months):A 30 million CFA home would require an estimated monthly payment of approximately 100,000 CFA. A 50 million CFA home would require an estimated monthly payment of approximately 166,000 CFA.

  • Example 3: For Upper Middle-Class Families

A household earning 600,000 – 1,000,000 CFA per month or an individual

earning the same amount and above will be able to buy a home valued at 100–

               150 million CFA.

                With a 25-year repayment plan (300 months):

A 100 million CFA home will cost about 333,000 CFA per month.

A 150 million CFA home will cost about 500,000 CFA per month.

Because the Cameroon we are building is an equal society where everyone gets the opportunity to take part, whether you are a minimum wage earner or an upper middle-class professional, we are making homeownership possible for all.

Connected & Sustainable Communities: Each housing project will be well-planned, with access to clean water, reliable electricity, good roads, and green spaces.

Modern Centers for Growth

  • World-Class Shopping Malls: Every regional capital will have a modern shopping and business hub, creating jobs, boosting local economies, and keeping money within our communities.

  • New Administrative Capitals: Each region will benefit from a new, well-designed administrative capital. These modern cities will reduce overcrowding in current urban areas and spread development more fairly across the country.

Access to Knowledge & Culture

  • Libraries for All: Every municipality will have a public library, giving young people and adults free access to books, the internet, and resources for lifelong learning.

  • Preserving Our Heritage: We will build a National Archives Library—a state-of-the-art home for Cameroon’s history, culture, and intellectual treasures, ensuring they are preserved for generations to come.

Smarter Urban Planning

  • Modern Zoning Systems: Clear rules for land use will separate housing, business, industry, and green spaces to create organized, livable cities.

  • No More Unregulated Settlements: New developments will follow strict safety and environmental guidelines, protecting citizens and the environment.

  • Sustainable Cities: Eco-friendly planning will prioritize clean energy, public parks, and long-term sustainability.

Safety & Justice for Citizens

  • Prisons That Rehabilitate: Each region will have a modern medium-security prison,  with a 5000 capacity. reducing overcrowding and giving inmates a real chance at rehabilitation. Every prison will have a library, trades center and factories connected to it. Where inmates will be able to  get education, learn a skill and work at the factories to be productive member society and pay their debts back to society.

  • Modern Police Stations: A  modern central police station  will be constructed in every region to reflect the future. Every station will be  equipped with the latest technology, training centers, and rapid-response units, will ensure safety, accountability, and trust between citizens and law enforcement. 100 Police vehicles will be issued to every region to facilitate policing and patrols.

  • Job Creation and ranking.

Building 50,000 homes a year would create roughly 150,000–250,000 jobs

annually and move Cameroon into the top 3 of Africa’s urbanization and active

                housing producers .

A Future We Can Believe In

This vision is about more than buildings and infrastructure, it’s about people. It’s about giving every Cameroonian the chance to live in a safe home, work in thriving cities, learn in modern libraries, and trust in fair systems of justice.

Together, we will build a Cameroon where hope is restored, opportunities are everywhere, and the future belongs to all of us.

YES WE CAN-L'mpossible nes't pas camrounaise
